Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has experience installing Solar PV and battery systems and is passionate about tackling the climate emergency to join an expanding renewable energy installation firm with a strong environmental and social purpose. This position is being created due to increasing demand for our services designing and delivering renewable energy solutions for householders and commercial clients.
Unlike many solar companies, we do not operate a high-volume “fit as many systems as possible” model. Our focus is on carefully designed installations, high-quality workmanship and long-term system performance.
You will work alongside an experienced team delivering projects that genuinely help customers reduce their carbon emissions and energy bills.
You will take a hands-on role leading installations on site, working alongside the team on the roof, carrying out the electrical installation and commissioning & testing of Solar PV & battery storage systems on domestic & commercial projects.

You will be responsible for the electrical installation, commissioning and testing of Solar PV and battery storage systems, working on domestic and commercial projects.
Where required, you will support fault finding, maintenance and optimisation of existing systems, ensuring installations operate safely and efficiently and meet regulatory standards.
The role will also include the electrical aspects of heat pump power supplies.
You will be completing installations and the necessary certification to ensure compliance for our customers, mainly in West London, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire.
You will report to a senior member of the company and will receive training and support to deliver your role.
The role will occasionally operate from the company’s office in Bracknell, Berkshire and there may be some opportunity to work from home on desk-based work.
